It's not e88 it's 88 Octane which is E15. Your 2020 mustang is perfectly fine with it. If you are already using 87octane with 10% ethanol, you won't notice any difference using 88. Your specific car is new enough to change its fueling strategy and ignition timing to adjust for different levels of ethanol, you can even use 85% ethanol. Anyone saying your mpg will tank is incorrect.
